Welcome to my blog page where I want to discuss a variety of subjects since I often wander a bit in my thoughts. I hope to post somewhat regularly, but I tend to be a bit sporadic. Since I work on a lot of projects and have two pen names in addition to my real name (this one!) I’m bouncing from one to another.

As the title suggests, i like to talk about music, books, and cats, but that’s not all. I also like movies, figure skating, and other animals, so any and all of those might show up in a blog post. If you like being surprised, stop in periodically to see what I’m chatting about, or sign up for to be notified when I post… as soon as I get that feature working. I’m trying a new approach with this web site and it’s a challenge.

Thieves Strike at Night!

I’m going to start by telling you a little story. My roomie and I were robbed the other day. Thieves came in the middle of the night and stole from an Amazon delivery box that was sitting in our driveway. When I went out the next morning, I saw it was torn open and the bag of my King Arthur flour was open on the end and lying on the ground with bits of flour surrounding it!

Inside, the only evidence left of the plastic cat food container was the lid! But I soon discovered the actual container, plastic seal torn free and completely empty, a few feet away. I can only conclude the masked bandits–with the empty one pound container, I figured at least two–ate it all and then departed.

If anyone spots any chubby raccoons, let me know!
